In addition to quantum bits or qubits with discrete variables, nowadays, continuous variables emerge as an extremely powerful alternative candidates for quantum information processing. In this workshop, as the satellite meeting of 16th Asian Quantum Information Science Conference (AQIS 2016), topics, we will focus on the recent developments in Schrodinger cat states, entangled coherent states, hybrid states, squeezed states etc. We would also like to make this event an opportunity to share ideas and results, and to establish possible collaborations on the future directions.

Organized by:
Ray-Kuang Lee (NTHU, TG-7)
Ying-Cheng Chen (AS, ECP-1)
Ite A. Yu (NTHU)
