Yung-Ting Lee

Postdoctoral Research Associate

I studied ab-initio molecular dynamics and time-frequency analysis at Prof. Jyh-Shing Lin's group and got the Master's and PhD degrees at the Department of Chemistry in Tamkang University. After military service, I joined Prof. Myung Joon Han's group at the Department of Physics in Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) to implement a phonon code in OpenMX and work with Prof. Taisuke Ozaki at the Institute for Solid State Physics (ISSP) in the University of Tokyo to develop a high efficient parallel code for calculating optical properties, such as optical conductivity and dielectric function, in OpenMX. At the same time, Prof. Ozaki and I developed the OpenMX Viewer in the modern browser for users to create the crystalline / molecular structures or analyze corresponding output data. Now, I work with Dr. Hsu at Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences in Academia Sinica.
My research interests are optical properties, numerical methods, lattice dynamics, and ab-initio molecular dynamics. My personal curriculum vitae can be found at https://sites.google.com/site/ytl821/ .
