Research Interests
l The kinetics and dynamics of gas-surface interactions in general
l Adsorption, self-assembling, and thermally-/photocatalytically induced reactions of organic molecules on surfaces
l Surface spectroscopic methods, e. g. FTIR, Raman scattering, and surface fluorescence spectroscopy studies of the kinetics and dynamics of surface adsorbates
l Additional attention is paid to setting up UHV-STM to approach the atomic-level understanding of chemical processes occurring on solid surfaces.
