Omran Moradlou

Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Omran earned his Ph.D. in Electrochemistry from Shiraz University in 2009. He then conducted postdoctoral research in Physics Department at Sharif University of Technology. In 2011, he joined Alzahra University as a faculty member, where he began his academic career focusing on energy and environmental science. His primary research interests center on renewable and sustainable energy conversion and storage. In August 2023, Omran joined the research group of Prof. Kuei-Hsien Chen at the Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences (IAMS), Academia Sinica, as a visiting scholar.

He earned his B.Sc. in Applied Chemistry and M.Sc. in Inorganic Chemistry from Arba Minch University, Ethiopia, in 2013. He completed his Ph.D. in 2025 in Sustainable Chemical Science and Technology under the supervision of Prof. Kuei-Hsien Chen and Prof. Li-Chyong Chen at the Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences, Academia Sinica, in collaboration with National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan. Before beginning his current postdoctoral position, he served as a Lecturer at Dire Dawa University, Ethiopia.

Tadios Tesfaye Mamo

Tadios Tesfaye Mamo obtained his B.Sc. in Applied Chemistry from the University of Gondar and his M.Sc. in Environmental Science, specializing in renewable energy and climate science, from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. He served as a biofuel expert at the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum in Ethiopia. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from National Taiwan University and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Condensed Matter Science, National Taiwan University.

Dr. Abhishek   Ghosh

Dr. Abhishek Ghosh

Postdoctoral Research Fellow

He is Abhishek Ghosh, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences (IAMS), Academia Sinica, Taipei. He earned his M.Sc. in Physics from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and completed his Ph.D. in Physics at IIT Delhi. His research focuses on semiconductor and thermoelectric materials, where he combines experimental and DFT-based modeling to understand how atomic-scale interactions govern electronic and thermal transport.
